Effective August 28, 2026
Mindmaply is built to work without collecting personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics. This page explains what happens to your data, in plain language.
The editor runs entirely in your browser. Typing in it does not upload anything, and there is no database of your work in progress. When you share a map, the entire map is encoded into the link itself, and the editor also asks our API to store that encoded map under a short id, so the link you paste can be short. Two consequences worth knowing:
Some features use our API (api.mindmaply.app), which runs on Cloudflare
Workers: share pages with link previews, SVG and PNG rendering, and AI generation
from text, images, or video links you provide. For these, the map source or your
input is sent to the API to produce the result, and nothing else.
The site is served by GitHub Pages through Cloudflare's network, and fonts load from Google Fonts. Like all web infrastructure, these providers see standard request data (such as your IP address) and handle it under their own policies: GitHub, Cloudflare, Google.
If the product changes in a way that affects your data, this page and its date will be updated. The history is public in the open-source repository.
